How you can help

We need your help to ensure that all children in TI Park and surrounding communities can enjoy sailing on the River.

As a volunteer-led non-profit, TIPYC funds its activities solely on donations and sailing program fees. In recent years, the sailing program income hasn’t covered all the costs of running the program, while our fixed costs have increased dramatically. For instance, our liability insurance doubled to nearly $10,000 annually, and the minimum wage ($15 per hour) for our valued counselors will continue to grow steadily through 2026.

The TIPYC board is committed to keeping costs under control and program fees affordable. But we also need your help to ensure that all children in TI Park and surrounding communities can enjoy sailing on the River.

To keep our program accessible, please consider a donation to TIPYC. Your tax-deductible donation can enable more children to participate in our summer sailing program and support TIPYC’s amazing youth counselors.

We also need your help is other ways, like volunteering to organize social gatherings, pull our boat trailers to races, participate in the board, and even maintain this website. So, if you can help out, either with money or talent, please get in touch with us.
