Summer 2025 Events

Sailing Program Set-up June 22-29Counselors and Counselors-in-Training (CITs) will work with the Fleet Captain at the Yatch Shop and the Sailing Platform to prepare the fleet for the Summer.

Season Opening Event Saturday, June 28Join us at the Yacht Shop at 5PM for food and drinks to celebrate the beginning of our summer program. Merchandise will be available for sale. Rain or Shine.

Sailing Program - First Session June 30-July 3The first weekly session of our Sailing Program will kick off on June 30. Kids (ages 8-12) from 9:30a-12p and youth (ages 12-18) from 1p-3:30p) Registration is required!

Sailing Program - Second Session July 7-10The second weekly session of our Sailing Program continues. Kids (ages 8-12) from 9:30a-12p and youth (ages 12-18) from 1p-3:30p). We'll prep for a weekend race too. Registration is required!

Race - TIPYC vs ABM Saturday, July 12Let’s go racing with our Antique Boat Museum (ABM) friends. Meet at the TIP Pavilion at 11a for fun racing for all ages. We’ll have our sailboats, but you can also bring yours. Pray for wind!

Sailing Program - Third Session July 14-17The third weekly session of our Sailing Program continues. Kids (ages 8-12) from 9:30a-12p and youth (ages 12-18) from 1p-3:30p) Registration is required!

Public Board Meeting Saturday, July 26Join us for our annual meeting at the Pavilion (Time TBD) to discuss key issues. We welcome all, especially new volunteers!

TIP 250th Weekend July 25-27The Thousand Island Park will celebrate its sesquicentennial anniversary this year. There will be several events this weekend, culminating with fireworks!

The sixth (and final) weekly session concludes our Sailing Program for 2024. Kids (ages 8-12) from 9:30a-12p and youth (ages 12-18) from 1p-3:30p) Registration is required!

End of Season Party Thursday, August 7We’ll close out the Sailing Program with our annual party at the Pavilion, where we’ll have food, drinks, games, and merchandise. Don’t forget the tub races, watermelon contest, and final jump. Start time is noon weather permiting.
