A River Tradition

TIPYC maintains an active sailing program and organizes events to promote fellowship, friendship, and camaraderie within the greater River community.

In the summer, TIPYC offers five to six weeks of sailing instruction for kids ages 8-16. While safety and qualified instruction are paramount, the program’s trademark is “fun.”

Our counselors take kids out in our sailboats for experiential learning, laughter, and lightheartedness, with U.S. Sail-certified counselors providing constant supervision.

Both TI Park and community kids eagerly await summer on the sailing platform with their River friends, and many become counselors-in-training, then counselors, and even board members!

TIPYC gives kids in TI Park and surrounding communities another option for recreation, fun, and camaraderie on the River while building lifelong sailing skills.
